Chocolate Chip Protein Cookies

One night, I was craving something sweet--like a healthy chocolate chip cookie--but with protein! So, I was in my kitchen searching for the healthiest ingredients I could find, with protein. Oh yes! How delicious these cookies came out. The benefits of these cookies are that they have Omega-3, Protein, fiber, and they are gluten-free! :) Even better...you can have one before and after a workout! Wow, even by eating two of these cookies, they got me full due to all the protein in them :)These delicious cookies gave me energy as well! One last thing, these delicious cookies & DO NOT contain flour, nor do they contain whole wheat flour! Flour-less cookies, you can't get me wrong ;)

You will need:


  • 1/2 cup Natural Organic Peanut Butter 
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 tbs Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate Chips
  • 1/4  Ground Flax Seed
  • 1 scoop Protein Powder( I used Whey Protein powder from Robeks!)

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Combine all ingredients and mix well :)
  • Scoop onto cookie sheet and flatten with a fork. 
  • Bake for 10-13 minutes or until cookies are just beginning to brown! :)

Now you may enjoy your homemade protein cookie  for your post/after workout! :)




All the mix I combined! Flaxseed, which is high in fiber and omega-3, 2 egg whites, protein powder, peanut butter, and chocolate chips!

Now, I popped them in the oven! We'll just wait and see how they turned out :D
